Lisa Christian , RYT

Lisa has been practicing and teaching yoga for more than 13 years. She is the owner and director for Studio Be Yoga.   Lisa enjoys turning people on to yoga for the first time, as well as challenging more experienced students to find a new edge.  Lisa is also experienced in teaching therapeutic, prenatal, mom & baby, kids and teen classes.  "I practice yoga to be a better person.  I teach yoga to help others to grow and discover the best of themselves. I opened a studio because I want to live in a community where people do yoga!" THIS is something you reallycan do for yourself for the rest of your life.

Andrea Murray , RYT

Andrea started her journey as a prenatal student in 2000.  Her appreciation for the rich teachings of yoga deepened as she began to explore the many facets yoga has to offer.  She has been a registered viniyoga teacher since 2005.  "I enjoy teaching a challenging class that anyone can participate in.  In my practice, I focus on finding balance...for my yoga, my family and my life."

Mike Tipple, RYT

Mike is a certified instructor who has been studying yoga for twelve years. Through his yoga path, he has studied with several instrumental instructors in different styles of yoga including, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Bikram’s, and Vinyasa. Mike has been teaching for six years with a strong focus to the individual needs of his students.  He likes to focus on helping students to link the mind and body, with the help of the breath.  Mike also has a background and degree in Exercise Science. “I teach yoga because it  seemed like a natural progression from my own practice; sharing the tools, experiences, and opening to how it mirrors life.”

 Liz Doyle, RYT

I’ve personally been practicing yoga for over 10 years, completed a comprehensive 7 month teacher training program at Samadhi Yoga. You’ll find my classes fun and full of variety, with a strong flowing movement to keep the mind and body flexible and young.
Yoga has done so much for my life that I just couldn’t help becoming a teacher. I am grateful to all my mentors -- because of them, I am now able to share the many gems of yoga with you. In a short time, you’ll start to walk taller, feel better, move like you did years ago, and play like a kid. You will have more confidence and courage, you’ll have tools to manage the ups, downs and imbalances of everyday life, and you’ll be happier. Yoga did that for me, and I can show you how to do the same, if you’re ready.

Anna Starikov,

Itsy Bitsy Yoga® Facilitator

Anna has been practicing various styles of yoga since 1999, but when she took her first prenatal Viniyoga class (taught by Lisa Christian) 5 years ago, she was hooked. After her second child was born, she found it difficult to balance everything in her life. That’s when she discovered that she could practice with her children and share the benefits of yoga with them. Since then, Anna has completed Helen Garabedian’s Baby and Tot Itsy Bitsy Yoga® training so that she can help parents bond with their babies and tots through the gift of yoga. She is also currently participating in Studio Be’s Advanced Studies and Teacher Training program. She looks forward to meeting you and your little yogis – Clappy Happy Namaste!

Michelle Mikkelson, RYT

When I moved to the Puget Sound area from Denmark, I had a feeling this was a good place to finally experience yoga and I wasn’t disappointed. I started with an Intro class (taught by Lisa Christian) and just kept on going until I completed my teacher training in the Viniyoga tradition.  Yoga has helped me create balance in my life, as well as increased my energy and physical strength. I do yoga because "It has  taught me to listen to my body and instincts and let them guide my decisions both on and off the mat."  My philosophy as a yoga teacher is that the student is at the heart of the class, not me.  I teach yoga because "I want to provide students with the practice and experience needed in the moment." I feel truly honored to be able to share the teachings and tools of yoga to others.
